Flanders online community is a huge pool of talent and creativity. To give these people the spotlight and credit they deserve, Hurae decided to create De Jamies in collaboration with Filmfestival Oostende.
In a social media-tasting trip award show we bring the Flemish online crème de là crème on stage. Every year the community grows bigger and the talent grows stronger.
After 5 editions we’re proud to say we’ve created a platform for online creativity. We presented awards to some of the most impactful Flemish content creators, such as Acid, Clementine Caron, Bokkie De Repper, Lilqra, Afrobelg, Jonathan Medard, Twoosie, Michael Amani and Average Rob.
We not only support the online creative community with recognition, we want to actively inspire and educate creators. Together with the professional creators, important organisations in the field and schools we give workshops and talks on social media, creativity and digital wellbeing.
We started with both online and offline tutorials for content creators and business called De Jamies Tutorials. The project has evolved to De Jamies op route, bringing the inspiring educational talks right where upcoming creators are: their schools.
